robot needs oil – volta (olivier giacomotto remix)
this french electro producer was nominated as best electro producer in 2008 on beatport (which is sort of a big deal). he’s considered one of the best. on this remix, you get a feel of his production style with a very similar melody & synth lead to princess superstar’s perfect.
it seems most famous beatport producers sort of ripoff hit songs and make them instrumental with a slightly different chord progression. however, also understand that there are so many common bass-lines that are used over and over and over, over time.
anyway, four splendas for this repetitive general dance floor hit.
