kinky – presidente
this track definitely shows a different side to kinky fitting more into the mainstream rock sound. with similar styles to tom vek but heavily influenced by traditional norteña, kinky is able to combine an indie rock electronic sound, and keep the sexy latin flavor alive. this song opened my mind up to kinky, hooked me, and now i can’t get enough of them! although the first album tends to focus on percussion, it is still perfect for any open-minded iced tea drinker. 6 splendas.

phoenix – alphabet
i’m uploading the full album for a friend. the tracks on alphabet can be heard as poppy french rock with a similar hot chip vocalist. it’s pretty amazing how these songs can be heard on many levels: on the dancefloor, to lounge, to sleep, to concentrate. well produced! eight splendas!
